Join us every Tuesday at 6:45pm for a relaxed 30 minute run.
Whether you're taking your first steps or you're an experienced runner, everyone is welcome.
We run together, not against each other. One of our volunteers will always stay at the back of the group, so nobody gets left behind.
Afterwards, you're invited to stay for a drink of your choice and some good conversation. Whether you want to talk about running, going alcohol-free, or simply connect with like-minded people, you'll find a warm and supportive community.
Conversations about living alcohol-free are encouraged. Supporting one another is part of who we are.
Tread7 is completely free to attend. There are no membership fees or subscriptions. At the end of each run, we'll pass around a voluntary contribution pot to help cover our running costs, in the spirit of self-support.
Just turn up.
Goring By Sea, Worthing, West Sussex.
Run together. Live alcohol free together.
Giving up alcohol doesn't mean giving up on life. Quite the opposite.
It's about discovering what life can look like without it. Building genuine friendships. Creating stronger connections. Looking after our physical and mental wellbeing. Challenging ourselves. Laughing more. Living more.
Whether you've been alcohol-free for years, you're just starting your journey, or you're simply curious about what life without alcohol could be like, you'll find a place here.
At Tread7, we believe every step forward counts, and together we can become the best versions of ourselves.
"Tread" represents putting one foot in front of the other, whether you're running or simply moving forward in life.
The 7 is a nod to the principle of self support.
Tread7 has no memberships or fees. We simply pass a voluntary contribution pot at the end of each run to help cover our costs.
Those who know the reference will recognise it.
Those who don't will simply see a community supporting itself.
Every Tuesday we meet at 6:45pm for a relaxed 30-minute social run.
Our routes are designed so nobody feels left behind, and one of our volunteers always stays at the back of the group.
When we finish, we grab a drink, coffee, tea, soft drink, 0% beer if thats your go to or whatever you fancy.
We spend some time chatting.
Some conversations are about running.
Some are about life.
Some are about going alcohol-free.
There is never any pressure to talk, but you'll always find someone willing to listen.

Tread7 is a community-first, alcohol-free running club (sober run club)for anyone who wants to move, meet new people and enjoy good company without any pressure.
Whether you've been sober for years, you're sober curious, taking a break from alcohol or simply fancy doing something different on a Tuesday evening, you'll be welcomed exactly as you are.
There's no membership. No fees. No booking. Just turn up, run at your own pace, and stay afterwards for a coffee, soft drink or whatever you fancy.
If running isn't your thing yet, don't worry. Nobody gets left behind, and nobody is judged.
The name Tread7 is a quiet nod to a principle that has inspired me. In some recovery communities, Tradition 7 reminds us to be self-supporting through our own contributions. We wanted to carry that same spirit into this club.
Tread represents putting one foot in front of the other. The 7 represents a community that looks after itself. There are no subscriptions keeping us going. If you'd like to throw a few pounds into the pot after a run to help cover the website, insurance or future events, you're welcome to. If you can't, that's absolutely fine too.
Tread7 isn't about recovery. It's about community.
It's about proving that some of the best nights out don't need a pint in your hand, just a good pair of trainers and great people beside you.
Tread7 isn't a business, franchise or professional running club. It's a community.
Nobody is in charge. There isn't a committee making all the decisions, and there isn't a paid team behind the scenes. Every person who turns up is simply another member of the community, giving what they can, whether that's helping welcome someone new, suggesting a route, organising a social, or simply showing up with a smile.
Everything we do is voluntary and built on mutual respect. We ask everyone to treat fellow members with kindness, patience and understanding. We all have different stories, different abilities and different reasons for being here.
There is absolutely no place at Tread7 for bullying, intimidation, discrimination or abusive behaviour, whether in person or online.
Anyone who cannot respect others or the values of the community will be asked not to return.
We're always happy to hear ideas that help make Tread7 better.
Constructive feedback is welcomed, but please remember that everyone involved is giving their time freely to create something positive for others.
If that spirit of community sounds like something you'd like to be part of, we'd love to meet you on a Tuesday.
We would like to thank James & James Estate Agents for hosting the website.
